Babymoon (the “App”) is an iPhone app for following pregnancy and preserving personal memories. Pregnancy information is especially sensitive. This policy explains what stays on your device and the limited information processed by others when you use Premium.

In short

Your pregnancy records, journal, photos, and notes are stored only on your device. There is no user account, no advertising, and no tracking of your activity. When a Premium purchase is verified, Apple and our subscription provider, Adapty, process limited purchase and subscription information as described below.

1. Information that stays on your device

The following content is stored in the App’s local storage on your iPhone. We do not receive it and cannot access it:

  • Pregnancy profile information, including dating information, theme preference, baby nickname, and birth date
  • Journal entries, mood, energy, symptoms, and routine check-ins
  • Weight, blood pressure, and movement-count records
  • Appointments, questions for your healthcare professional, and appointment notes
  • Weekly photos, ultrasound images, milestones, letters, captions, and other memories
  • Reminder preferences

Photos are copied into the App’s isolated local folder. Videos, digital albums, PDF memory books, appointment summaries, and backup archives are also created on your device. They leave your device only when you choose to share or save them elsewhere.

2. Accounts, advertising, and tracking

  • No user account. You do not provide a name, email address, phone number, or login to use Babymoon.
  • No advertising. The App contains no advertising network or advertising SDK.
  • No advertising tracking. Babymoon does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework for tracking and does not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA).

3. Information processed for subscriptions

Babymoon Premium is sold through the App Store. Two providers are involved:

Apple

Apple processes payment, billing, refunds, and subscription management. We do not receive or store your card number, billing address, or financial account information. See the Apple Privacy Policy for details about Apple’s processing.

Adapty

We use Adapty to verify purchases, keep Premium access in sync, and understand subscription performance. This may include:

  • Purchased product, transaction identifier, purchase date, and renewal date
  • Subscription state, such as active, cancelled, trial, or expired
  • Technical details such as device and app version, plus an anonymous identifier assigned by Adapty

Your pregnancy profile, journal, health notes, photos, memories, and appointments are not sent to Adapty. Collection of IDFA and IP address is disabled in our Adapty configuration.

4. Internet connection

Week-by-week guidance, journaling, memories, health notes, and reminders work without an internet connection. A connection is only needed to load Premium offers, make a purchase, or restore a subscription.

5. Permissions

PermissionWhen it is requestedHow it is used
PhotosWhen you choose a photo to addOnly the images you select are copied into the App
CameraWhen you use the weekly photo cameraThe photo is saved on your device and is not uploaded
NotificationsDuring onboarding or from SettingsOptional reminders scheduled locally on your device

Permissions are optional and can be changed at any time in iOS Settings. The core pregnancy guidance and journal remain available without photo, camera, or notification access.

6. Retention, backup, and deletion

  • Your iPhone passcode and device encryption help protect data stored by the App.
  • You can export records and photos as one archive from Settings. Because we do not keep a server copy, we recommend saving backups regularly.
  • Deleting the App permanently removes its local data unless that data remains in an iCloud or computer device backup. We cannot restore content we never received.
  • Device backups are managed under Apple’s terms and settings.

Apple and Adapty may retain subscription records for transaction verification, accounting, legal, and fraud-prevention purposes. Removing Babymoon does not automatically delete those records.

7. Your choices and rights

Because we cannot access your personal pregnancy content, you view, edit, export, and delete it directly in the App. For a request relating to the limited subscription information processed on our behalf, contact us at the address below. We will respond as required by applicable law.

8. Children’s privacy

Babymoon is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Babymoon changes. The effective date on this page will be revised. If a material change affects how information is processed, we may also provide notice in the App.
